Description | Workman Publishing is looking for a Senior Production Editor to manage and traffic all stages of books and calendars—from manuscript to blues—as well as proofread jacket and cover copy. The candidate would be responsible for hiring freelance copy editors and proofreaders and assigning freelance work. This position would also be responsible for checking reprint corrections and promotional copy, as needed. Requirements: -At least 5 years copyediting, production editorial, or managing editorial experience Workman is a medium-sized independent publisher of iconic and award-winning cookbooks, parenting/pregnancy guides, and fun and educational children’s books as well as high-end gift books, fiction, gardening, country living, and audiobook titles.
